Church Administrator
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and passionate Church Administrator to become an essential member of our team. This part-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a heart for serving others. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of church activities, supporting ministries, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee church office functions, including answering calls and emails, scheduling meetings, and maintaining church records to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Coordinate Events: Work closely with ministry leaders to plan and execute church events, community outreach initiatives, special programs, and seasonal events. Ensure all logistical details are handled efficiently.
- Financial Management: Assist with financial responsibilities, such as oversee financial and accounting needs and review monthly financial reports. Collaborate with the Finance Team to ensure transparency and proper stewardship of church resources.
- Serve Members & Volunteers: Provide support to church members, visitors, and volunteers. Be a welcoming point of contact and assist in volunteer coordination for various church programs and activities.
- Facility & Resource Management: Oversee the use of church facilities, ensuring spaces are set up for services, meetings, and special events; and coordinating maintenance and scheduling needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years in administrative roles, preferably with experience in a church or nonprofit setting.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, and experience in IT management.
- Financial Knowledge: Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and donation tracking. Work together with the church’s Bookkeeper and Finance Team to ensure reports are accurate and complete.
- Heart for Ministry: A passion for serving others and supporting the church’s mission to make a difference in the community.
- Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with staff, church leadership, and volunteers.

We are looking for a few people to staff our Nursery on Sunday mornings! This is a paid position, and would require a Level II Background screening. Hours would be from 8:30a – 12:15p (approx.) on Sundays. We’d love to have enough paid staff to be able to rotate weeks so that everyone has a chance to attend worship regularly.
