Room at The Inn (Cold Weather Homeless Shelter)

Room At The Inn works in conjunction with Halifax Urban Ministries to provide a warm place for homeless in our community to stay anytime it drops below 40 degrees. We can use volunteers to serve in the following ways:

Serving Meals (6:30 pm – 8:00 pm)
Monitoring guest during sleep (8:00 pm – 1:00 am) (1:00 am – 6:00 am)
Morning clean-up (6:00 am – 8:00 am)

Volunteers can stay updated with the latest information on the cold night shelter by joining the Room at the Inn Facebook Group. For more information please contact Kay Luzier at 386.334.7404 or to volunteer,
